The Directors

Will

Will earned his trade as an apprentice, gaining on-the-job skills and experience for two years before qualifying as a carpenter in 2007. He worked in both commercial and domestic environments until he chose to join the British Army, where he served for four years with the Royal Engineers. In 2014 he left the army to set up West & Hill with his good friend Rick and hasn’t looked back since.

Rick

Rick started work in the construction industry in 2005. The majority of Rick’s early experience was in the flooring sector, in both commercial and domestic environments, where he gained a huge amount of knowledge about a range of products which he brings to his work at West and Hill. In 2013 he gained his NVQ level 2 in flooring, providing him with the credentials to back up his many years of experience. Since forming West and Hill in 2014, Rick has applied himself to various trades as required by the job in question, including joinery and plastering. He has recently achieved level 3 NVQ in plastering through on site assessment. In 2019 Rick achieved his Passivehaus Contractors certification to add to his credentials.
